I think it’s extremely possible to like someone less after seeing the way they live. Especially with his mom in the damn closet. That would make me seriously question who I was about to settle down with and turn me off hugely.
It makes sense if she got the ick. That doesn’t go away just because you’re staying at a hotel.

Closet mom is the former. She said in their intro episode she stayed with him to save money and that was years ago. She’s definitely saved enough money by now to move out.

It also always blows my mind how people expect that someone with spend their day traveling, sometimes even more than that, and then want to immediately get it on. Dude, let me shower, eat and sleep, and then I might want to do the deed. 😂

Well, it sure is a huge turn off having the mom literally inside their bedroom, in the closet, and a bunch of animals taking over the living space in the living room.
Right??? It’s one thing to try and sneak something but if she’s in that walk in closet what if she has to pee in the middle of the night? She could literally walk in at any time because she HAS to. There’s no other way.
She needs to get something from her “room” and it’s right through yours. I wouldn’t even be able to sleep because I’d be so anxious about her popping in. I wouldn’t even be able to wear comfortable clothes or get changed or go without a bra because at any moment she could appear.
The first morning Anali said she wanted to go take a shower and he said “Want me to make sure my mom is done in the bathroom?” And you could see on her face this was not what she wanted. She checked out immediately.

He had plenty of time and taking her to a motel it’s what somebody does when they have an affair or they’re living in their parents house. It’s very immature and I could see where she’s turned off I would be. Do you want to have sex so he’s willing to pay for a hotel and not a bigger apartment👿

The rent on that place is like $1000 per month (I looked it up), he is probably getting some money (a little) from mom for her staying there, the most expensive thing that he owns is probably that gaming computer setup he also uses for work, the bumper of his car (2006-2011 Kia Rio) is held up with duct tape for the love of god.
He is probably making less than $60k.

I see the closet off the bedroom. That’s a tiny space. I would curtain off the dining nook and let her sleep there instead. In the bedroom is too close. Better yet, ask mom to move out. I would never squat in my grown child’s closet instead of getting a job and my own place.
