Written in the stars. Our u-17 has played 6 times the WC semifinals. Always was defeated in semis

We will never win this title

We had 100x more football than them, we lost the match instead of them winning it, it’s a shame for the kids because they are fantastic, I hope they take it as a learning lesson and grow more character, great comeback and we can be safe that our NT has a bright future with this talent

This team is something very special. The resilience, the mentality, and the fight are all there like in some very vintage German teams. Paired with some incredibly talented players and even players stepping up after lots of injuries is impressive. They weren’t always the better team in the games they played but they just find ways to win.

HEIDE YOUR GAUCHOS, TURNIERMANNSCHAFT IS BACK

Seriously though, advancing to the final with one goal differences and on pens is peak Germany and I love it.

The spirit they showed fighting back in the second half was exactly what’s been missing a long time from the senior squad. Here’s hoping it’s not a one-off and in a few years there’s a better generation following up. Also, way too early but if Moukoko doesn’t take off, makes one wonder if Brunner finally is the kind of striker Germany hasn’t seen since Klose.

What a good match it was, a shame our boys couldn’t make it

On the other hand, Germany seems to have a great future too, that Moerstedt (probably wrote it wrong) guy is really good.
