United have a culture problem. They overpay and spoil players who rest on their laurels.
It’s pretty crazy really, they’re basically what Liverpool were in the 90s with the Spice Boys etc
I dont think they are lazy, they all train and for the most part keep themself fit.
Not a manc but it seema like the facilities needs to be improved. Need to have a good environment to foster a elite mentality.
People like Ten Hag with ball knowledge have to be given time and respect. Sure all the players are making more money and have all the bitches they can want.
Ball knowledge a d pedigree have to be at the center of it all.
They give out too many big contracts too fast. Most of the player that fizzle are good players, just not in line with their wages and this puts on pressure.
Martial is decent for 80k/pw. Maybe bever 120 because he had some electric early seasons that may have got him a bump. But 250 k is criminal.
The fans had an unreasonable level of expectation of how they should have compete against citeh and the new eara of football.
I think it drove the board to make those big marquee signings that may not have worked out instead of taking risks on players.
The ship is coming around. It will take some time but they are getting some turnaround in the squad and it will improve in time.
A few more windows with Ten Hag, then try a 3 seasons with De Zerbi or someone whoknows ball.
10 years same story every year with new managers and players every year. After this long players and managers might not be the problem the owners are the problem
When you stat repeating the same tropes that the fans have been saying you know your time has passed you by.
This seems like a pretty easy criticism to make. Are there any stats to back it up? Are United running less, pressing less etc. compared to other teams? Or is this just ‘lazy’ criticism?
How many times are we gonna keep listening this same shit every other year? You know the outcome. The manager gets the sack. You get Pep in, You get Klopp. Sack in the 2nd year because he’s clueless while players eating good.
About two years, I criticised Rashford on this sub for his substandard performance on the field and the fact that he was more focused on issues off the field, and I was heavily downvoted.
It really is a shitshow roster of players with huge flaws and half the team being lazy and selfish

Can’t really argue with that assessment
Whats mad is we’ve been saying it for years. Different managers, different players, same problems.
Effort is the bare minimum to expect in any job. Most of these players didn’t even have that.
If the last decade of Man Utd are anything to go on I reckon you very much CAN get away with that
Full quote-
“Rubbish. They’re a poor football team at the moment, aren’t they? Those results they’ve had recently are misleading. Too many lazy players on the football team - you can’t get away with that.”
Couldn’t agree more with Paul.
