Q3 2024 Financial reports shows total datacenter revenue of $14.51B. I’d assume that there’s some discounting going on at that kind of volume.
By comparison, gaming revenue was $2.86B for Q3 2024.
To show the explosive growth:
The Q1 2024 financial report had datacenter revenue at $7.19B. Q3 2023 datacenter revenue was at $3.83B.
This is why all the decent consumer GPUs cost like, minimum $400.
NVIDIA no longer needs gamers.
I think my next GPU will be AMD, or Arc, if Intel gets their shit together.
Honestly, with Intel, it really was a driver issue. The recent gamers nexus showed they’ve matured and concentrating on what matters. So there’s a lot of hope with the next generation, as long as Intel keeps supporting the gpu market.
NVIDIA no longer needs poor gamers. FTFY.
