Hiring Chris Wilder is the definition of sentimental football for Sheffield United.
He was one of the worst managers in the Championship in the past two seasons.
What do they expect the guy to do? It’s a team that’s gone as far as it can, with the resources it has. It’s a top championship, bottom prem team.
Luton definitely have a worse team than them, but just look at the contrast of their performances. He should be appreciated for the work he has done, but sometimes change is just necessary.
