      No but you see, they fired an employee to pay for that AI ordering platform, which they don’t have to pay! So they can save humans money, trust us!

        In an ideal world it would free up Worker to better focus on their tasks.

          At least here in Finland, the same worker that takes your payment and gives you the food is the one that takes the orders in between. Which the AI can’t replace, so… Maybe it frees them up?

            I’m in a McDonald’s about twice a year usually because it’s the only option on a longer road trip.

            Most of them have at most 1 cashier ( sometimes 0) and have the stand up tablet kiosks for ordering.

            The drive through was primarily handled by a person with a head set who was also sometimes doing other things but I know a lot of fast food chains were farming that task out to call centers in cheaper locals, not sure about McD’s since I have not been through I drive through in a long long time.
