Global sea surface temperatures are back to 21.1 C which matches the record temperatures set last April and August. 61% of the world’s oceans are located in the northern hemisphere. This is why ocean temperature peaks typically occur cyclically in the spring and summer time frames, not in January when it’s wintertime in the northern hemisphere. This record setting temperature in January almost certainly means we will see new peak ocean temperatures in April and August. The ocean is literally heating up right before our eyes. Not in decades or years, but in months. The rate of change is absolutely stunning. Hang on to your hats my friends. We’re on a speed run toward /r/collapse.
