Grab him by the tower. He shouldn’t be too upset, he didn’t earn any of this stuff anyway; it was all given to him by daddy.

I’d love to see this…Real consequences for this lame excuse of a human being! However, I’m sure some republicans will come to Trump’s rescue as he has all of them by the balls/ovaries. A shame as this tanning spray-stained fool wields no actual power. It’s his followers that hold the power of a cult.

I still find it so weird that their idea of a big strongly man is a rather fey Manhattanite failson who had it all handed to him by daddy and who spends 2 hours a day on hair and makeup.

Not only does he do a very poor job of faking being a businessman, he cannot even fake the xtian thing all that well. I’m convinced these people WANT to be fooled.

If it was a charismatic leader I could kinda understand, but Trump…? Really? You can hardly understand a thing he says.

I feel like they want to be fooled at this point as well; to push their hopes and dreams on a person that is “rich” as they feel powerless in their own lives. The billionaires are running the show now, currying favor with even a strange Manhattanite failson who mismanaged all that wealth is less of an onerous ask for them. Until they feel empowered to make meaningful changes, Trump is just their figurehead of a doomed future as they won’t use their collective power to make a real difference.

You are both right. Also don’t forget about 20 or so years of constant republican propaganda from fox News. Fox has kept MAGA scared, outraged and frothing for a strong dictator to fix things without deep state interference in congress.

Since this craziness started in 2016, I have been amazed there haven’t been assignations. The right makes villain out of anyone who is against them and are cracy enough to try. Meanwhile, the left as a legitimate case to worry about fascism so I could also understand someone on that side taking drastic action.

It is truly a wonder that the shootings have managed to stay in the schools and haven’t really spilled into politics.

There have certainly been attempts. I think someone or some institution was tracking all the right wing political violence from recent years, but I cannot remember it right now. I still wonder what would have happened if those thugs at the insurrection had gotten their paws on some members of Congress and/or Pence.
