I don’t think it’s cringe, or copying for that matter, I don’t see why transparency and blur should be seen as iOS exclusive. It’s the first Android UI I’ve seen that looked somewhat pleasant.
It’d be cringe if it locked you to a single launcher. I’ve been running /e/ on my last 2 phones and it’s solid. Also easier to switch iOS users over.
