Good Album. Boom! is still sadly as applicable today.
The name being their response to early versions of the tracks leaking in Napster is great. Not “you’re taking our money” but “wait till we finish the songs, THEN steal it”.
The disc itself looks just like a blank CD-R with a sharpie label, but there’s also “hand drawn” alternate versions from each of the members.
It’s also a reference to this book https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steal_This_Book?wprov=sfla1
The number of copies that were stolen is unknown.[3]

Hey Mr Jack comes to mind too
I don’t remember if the initial vocals on “Chic N Stu” were in the demo or the final cut.
Pirates downloading on the internet: por que no los dos? :-P
I worked retail at the time and I followed the band’s directions several times.
The book sold more than a quarter of a million copies between April and November 1971. The number of copies that were stolen is unknown.

Don’t forget Download This Song by MC Lars
I contend that System Of A Down never recorded a bad song.
I would agree but I do remember being somewhat disappointed with Serj Tankian’s solo album.
System was really something that was greater than the sum of the parts. Serj’s solo stuff was decent, so was Daron’s SOB, but neither hit like System.
Or that “thing” with the lead singer of mindless self indulgence.
A member is not the band.
