Israel had been planning a response to a ballistic-missile barrage carried out by Iran on October 1, Tehran's second direct attack on Israel in six months.

Several loud explosions were heard in Iran’s capital, Tehran, and the nearby Karaj city early on Saturday, semi-official Iranian media said.

      It’d be regional, for sure. I don’t think Israel is going to pull the US into it, nor Iran pull Russia (mostly because they don’t even have the power to fight a war on their own border). Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the rest are going to try to stay out of it as much as they can, but still contribute a little material support. I don’t think it’s going to be a global conflict.
