Charlie Brown stands nearby watching Patty and Snoopy. She holds candy in her hand and says to a sitting Snoopy, “Speak!”

As Snoopy sits chewing behind Patty, Charlie Brown walks up to her with his hand outstretched. He asks,“Say, how about giving me a piece of that candy, too?”

Snoopy watches as she replies,“Say, ‘Please!’”

Charlie Brown, chewing the candy, says to Snoopy,“Now I know what you always have to go through!”
