I can’t imagine a scenario where that would make sense. If you ever game or watch live tv, then yes. That said, when I have it enabled, my live tv picture gets messed up, and the sound cuts back to the tv audio and then back to the HomePods again so I leave it off unfortunately.

I love it! When I’m playing video games or DVD/Bluray, it’ll play the volume to HomePods

It makes sense if you have a gaming system.
