I’ve been on Lemmy before, and I used to be on reddit quite a bit for this. Lemmy is a ghost town for dirty 1:1 chats, and reddit makes it nearly impossible to make throwaway accounts these days.
Mainly looking for one-off chats and generally, people who are also looking for the same thing. Looking for any tips/suggestions on sites, services, forums, etc.
Also, just so it’s clear, my DMs will be open 24/7 for dirty and casual convos from anyone, hit me up and say hi!
There’s no need to make a new community. There are plenty of communities that already exist solely for finding chat partners or to post personals. However, they aren’t active and when people do actually post they get zero replies. The problem isn’t the communities.
I can’t be bothered atm (eating pizza is far more important), but I can edit in a few later on.
Edit: Alright, as promised, here’s a list. Not all of them fit OP’s specifications, but all are general discussion, erp, dirtychat, or personals communities. You’ll notice that in almost all of them most posts go completely unanswered. Also, don’t use native Lemmy ui for community search, use Lemmyverse.net .
Pizza is always more important. But, you should tag (or copy this reply to) OP so they see it.
OP isn’t looking for communities to post to because they understand that the issue is post success, not where to post.
This community list was more to illustrate to you specifically that they do in fact exist already. We could make another community with an admittedly better name to make it more easily searchable, but that doesn’t mean that people will respond to posts on it any more than they will on any of the others.
