No one’s as cursed as those compelled to be extra-ordinary. Finishing 2nd though? That’s purgatory.

How is this dude nearly 40? I mean, at some point surely he must mature? Right?

Spot on. Understanding your limitations, being secure in yourself and what you’ve accomplished, and being able to be happy for others rather than envious or jealous, are all signs of emotional maturity. I won’t say it’s sad, because the dude is a bajillionaire. But it is a little pathetic

Trust me, I’ve seen plenty of people use this emoji who are well above 40. In fact, I’d say it’s more common amongst the olds then the youngs.

Extremely bitter bloke and I feel this attitude does and will affect his legacy, even if just slightly. Messi doesn’t act like this and that’s another reason he’s respected so highly. Cristiano acts like a child that’s had his toy taken away each time.

Cristiano Ronaldo likes and comments on @As_TomasRoncero’s video regarding Messi’s Ballon d’Or.

Tomás Roncero in a video: “Hello friends what we knew has happened, they were going to give another Ballon d’Or to Messi. He went to retire at Miami, but he was already looking like retired at PSG to prepare for the World Cup, he won the World Cup, yes, well, but with 6 penalties. The World Cup was 10 months ago, we’re in November. Messi has eight Ballon d’Ors well, he should’ve have five, he has the Ballon d’Ors of Iniesta/Xavi, Lewandowski who won 6 trophies in one season and Haaland who was the top scorer of everything.”

He may have won the highest honour possible in football, but he did it 10 months ago in this award thats judged over the past 12 months!

what kinda mental gymnastics do you have to do to say “yeah he won the world cup but he only scored 6 penalties so it doesn’t really count”

He’s ruining his own legacy with this bs. At this point he actively wants to be remembered as the 2nd best player behind Messi
