Resting on side on wood. No thanks. I’ll take the pillows.
The wood part gets solved with a leather pad that is also available.
Cool! But I just dont like the way the watches are oriented. You also lose full view of the watches towards the back.
I had one of these and they are really nice but there’s 2 main problems with a lot of them.

The wood posts are pretty large meaning if you have below a 7” wrist you have to keep your bracelet clasp open which doesn’t look as clean
-
Very few give you a pad for the surface so the side of your watch is resting on solid wood. It definitely can cause micro scratches on the side resting on the case

Looks nice
It doesn’t look as comfortable for the watches
Disagree. Most watches are side-sleepers and have trouble getting to full REM when merely reclining in a traditional watch box configuration like a lay-z-boy.
Hi everyone!
I have several watches and I find that I don’t rotate them enough because they are not easily accessible. I’ve came across this type watch box, that seems convenient to use.
What are your views? Any experience?
Thank you in advance for all the inputs!
Looks nice but not practical. Watches will lose time if leaving them on the side instead of up position.
i got a similar (3-watch version) display recently & moved my watches to my home office. having the watches face forward makes way more sense in a display like this, it’s nice to have them in view while i work. one of the perks of remote work i guess.
I’m a wood worker and a watch collector. I’ve been trying to decide on a design for a box for myself. I’m taking in all of the comments.
