    That’s not how the FCC works. They don’t approve things. You follow their standards. If you don’t, they fine you. There is no approval process for devices that must comply wit FCC, UKCA, or CE.

      that’s literally not true. you have to get a license to operate radio devices in the US.

      companies must get FCC certification for their devices to legally be sold here

        It literally is true. I make and sell electronics to all three markets. There is no approval process for selling devices.

          That seems a little pedantic. They couldn’t very well sell a phone here that doesn’t operate. Functionally you do need certification
