I can’t see how Fitness+ will survive for long. They’re literally trying to give it away from free.

Go to bestbuy.com and search ‘apple fitness’. You can get it for free for 3 months. And just keep repurchasing it. That’s what I’ve been doing.

It’s such a weird product, I actually pay for Alo Moves so you would think I’m their target audience but 2 seconds of checking out Fitness+ and I knew it was not for me. I think they made it for Oprah

A lot of at home exercise companies had a boom over Covid but they seem to be falling off a cliff now.

Wahoo has killed off its own online training platform

SSU which owns many brands such as Wiggle which sell stuff to train at home just went bust

Peloton is somehow still going but is struggling big time

It’s amazing to me that it even has lasted this long, considering Apple released it and for the most part, hasn’t done much with it. You never really hear about updates/new features. And I can’t get over how it’s basically Daily Burn with (better?) Apple Watch integration. That they don’t do live classes or scenic classes to me is just wild.

When Fitness+ lets me mute their shitty music without muting the trainer I’ll come back. It’s one of the worse Apple apps in a long.

I just want to be able to filter the classes by what’s in them rather than the type of music. Who designed an exercise app and thinks people want to choose ‘hip hop or dance’ rather than ‘legs or upper body’.

It’s like they’d seen videos of a gym rather than actually used one.

This is a great way to get a lot of biometrics. Really specific to certain classes too.
