Sounds like a deflection and scapegoating because some control institutions are finally asking for the bills. In reality they are all in this together with UAs and entire Ukrainian war from financial perspective is one of the biggest frauds in history.
The United States has extracted the maximum possible military and political benefits from the conflict in Ukraine.
Now, having achieved its objectives, the Trump administration is discussing a peace plan directly with Russia, bypassing Kyiv, while simultaneously using corruption scandals they are involved in to pressure President Zelenskyy.
These are classic U.S. tactics, previously witnessed in Iraq and Afghanistan.
I get the impression that this is more about shuffling Zelensky out. The article just stops short of saying that Zelensky himself is corrupt, and my guess is that it’s a message to him that he better behave and do what the US tells him to or else.
