Thank you! I like it a lot, the dial is mesmerising. The « guillochage en grain d’orge » is amazing as well and makes the watch super coherent. And the moon phase is such a romantic complication.

It’s only « default » is the bracelet, it doesn’t have half links. For me it runs a bit big, and if I remove a link it’s too small. But if you don’t have this issue I guess it can be a perfect one watch collection on its own. I’m thinking of buying a leather strap for this one to change its style.

Vintage Omega. But I would change the strap tbh (personal taste). The threads are too distracting, don’t really match the watch face imo.

Also, Nomos is fantastic, love almost everything they do.

I agree. It’s a cheap strap the former owner put. I’m thinking of changing it to suede brown or black strap. Might clash a little bit with its dressy side, but it may work. What do you think?

You need a quality, leather strap, and imo it should be just one color (no threads or hidden threads). Different thread colors don’t work well with such a classic watch.

Most colors would work, it’s really personal preference. And depending on when you typically wear it. Is it business casual? Then brown suede or leather would work.

Just for for more formal occasions, typically with a suit? Then black leather.

Yes business casual! I’m very rarely wearing a suit so probably will lean more towards the smart casual style. Might be an heresy but I’m thinking of buying the suede brown strap from Nomos to put on this watch. These bracelets are very well made, and not super expensive.

Thank you! I really really like it the new conquest! It goes well with everything and this bronze dial is amazing, very different from what we usually see out there. The big win for me on this watch is the bracelet, it’s very comfortable.

I advise you to try it on first, because it’s can be a beefy watch for small wrists. It’s still a 41mm diameter… I have the chance to have a 180mm wrist and it’s probably my biggest watch.
