Hi! I am looking for a rugged outdoor automatic watch that I can use when I fish and hike. I really like the Vacheron Constantin Overseas Titanium but it’s a bit too expensive. Looking for something under 5k and no bigger than 42mm. Any good suggestions?
Just bought a Tudor Black Bay Ceramic. Beautiful watch, hasn’t scratched yet. Bezel isn’t terribly readable at night though lol. It’s my daily wear on a rubber strap. You can pick one up used for ~$4k.
Well the Bremont MB-I, MB-II and MB-III lines are designed & tested to survive violent ejections from fighter jets, at around 20Gs. (The MB stands for Martin-Baker, the maker of ejection seats).

They start from just under $5000 retail.
GPW is a german company that makes one hell of a titanium field watch.
Marathon probably
Definitely Marathon, good enough for the military, more than good enough for us joes
Hamilton Khaki Titanium (Or expedition) is perfect: light, rugged, strong, reliable
I have a Hamilton khaki field automatic that I use everytime I go fishing or camping
Victorinox Inox if you’re looking for something that’s been tested for that kind of stuff
Bullshit.
Bro, what? 😂
Fishing on a yacht, I assume.
Ever eaten a Cheeseburger with a hublot inside? I haven’t.
Makes me wet fr, thats a better and more rugged alt to sinn 104. Even better lols. Actually i think i like that one vetter than the 104
Sinn and Luminox for automatics
Timex, Casio and Garmin for quartz/smartwatches.
Omega Aqua Terra - reliable, good looking, 150 meters water resistant and will last you a lifetime
Tudor Pelagos is my go to tool watch. That thing is indestructible
Don’t they have issues with the lume falling out of the bezels?
Sinn, Damasko, Marathon, but honestly just get a G Shock. I own all 4 of these brands but I don’t like wearing heavy watches when doing physical things so I end up just wearing a G Shock square.
