    Sinn makes the most incredible designs that frankly have no competitors or real copycats. I need to get another one someday, but alas, I am poor. Nice watch!

      Take, for example, the meticulous watches from the German brand Sinn.

      Sinn makes “mission timer” watches like the EZM 3, EZM 7 S (developed for firefighters), and the UX series (built for special operation forces) all with the crown on the left – and, according to Tim Burlon from Sinn’s marketing and communications, Sinn models with the crown on the left are actually designed to be worn on the left wrist in conventional fashion. The crown’s on the left, he says, to “avoid any damage on the back of the hand during a mission, dive or sports.” The left-side crown places it away from the wrist’s path of articulation, and therefore it cant dig into your hand while bending your wrist.

        Pretty smart. I once knocked the crown straight off a Tag Heuer by banging it on a door frame. Based on the way your arms swing when you walk, it probably wouldn’t have happened if it was on the left.

        That’s super cool. And to be honest I almost always have to take the watch off to adjust it anyway so now I kind of want a left hand watch.

    Great watch and great find! EZM2 (and the original EZM1) are two classics. I love the inside crown for comfortable wearing. What do you like most about it? What surprised you? What would you change?

      I like how slim it is for a dive watch. How easy it is to read, solid lume. I wear glasses and with any previous watches I would have to put my glasses on to be able to tell the time. Hate to sound like such fan boy but I really can’t think of anything I would change. If the watch would’ve came with the other stainless steel bezel I would’ve changed it to this, but that’s about it.

        I agree! The slimness is definitely one of its best characteristics. I actually have the silver bezel version which I got, oh, about a decade ago. It took forever to find but it’s never leaving my collection. It wouldn’t hurt to ask the mothership if they can install a silver one for you.

    I’ve bought and sold many watches over the years and my EZM2 is easily the one I most regret parting ways with.
