I didn’t do it to save money. In fact growing my own tomatoes and chili’s cost more that it saved.
I grew chili’s inside a greenhouse with growlights and outside to test the difference. Inside the greenhouse was over 30C every day and they had 10h of light per day while outside was much more variable and lower on average.
The ones from the greenhouse were so spicy that I could barely eat them.
It was a fun project and I’ll definitely do it again.
If AI gave correct answers 95% of the time instead of <50%, didn’t cause massive inflation in computer parts and doesn’t completely fuck the environment I’d be somewhat in favor of it.

This is one of the things that the Netherlands is doing well. There’s a huge extra tax on cigarettes. I think one cigarette costs about 50-75 euro cents. It should be more imo but it’s in the right direction.
I think smoking should be made prohibitively expensive. So much that nobody wants it anymore.

As for a smooth plate. I’ve had success with buying a cheap mirror from a hardware store and just cutting it to size. You don’t need a fancy glass plate to print on.
