I’m a big fan of privacy but I’ve also worked in IT for over 20 years and know that you have to also consider convenience of technology for older people, otherwise they just avoid using these things.

I just want to throw out there the idea of using Eufy cameras for older people. The systems store offline you don’t have to pay for online storage etc. And the app and everything is very simple and easy to use.

I know it’s not what you’re asking but I went through a similar dilemma with my MIL and went this route because she struggles enough as it is with technology.

I have no idea what omarchy is but based on the response for the community I don’t think it’s worth me learning about.

This was fascinating, there was that one sentence around 900 but I’m fairly certain almost everyone who is a native English speaker will only pick up somewhere around 1400. It’s all about consistency too. If i stop taking mine and then start taking them intermittently I find sometimes it makes symptoms worse
