I’m not sure either, but I guess the key term was “distinctive” in the United States federal guidelines, which might be where the misconception came from. Also, according to this article, in 2020 in the United States federal regulation, flavor was dropped:
Until recently, vodka’s long-standing federal definition was “neutral spirits distilled or treated after distillation with charcoal or other materials so as to be without distinctive character, aroma, taste or color.”
and then they go on to regarding the new standard:
we have a new standard of identity: “‘Vodka’ is neutral spirits which may be treated with up to two grams per liter of sugar and up to one gram per liter of citric acid.” While neutrality remains part of the definition, for the first time since 1949, the standard no longer defines vodka by the character it does not possess.

Isn’t vodka supposed to be colorless, odorless, and tasteless by definition? I don’t drink it (and don’t want recommendations) but is the difference that the less expensive stuff is less pure and gives you more of a hangover?

People will be studying that one in film school for decades.
If you have the time, this is a pretty great video studying the film

Yeah, I don’t see how anyone other than Hugging Face can have standing to bring a lawsuit over the breach. Is the unfair competition claim that OpenAI is allowed to hack Hugging Face with no repercussions but another company can not?

Woah, never realized the Read a Book poster in the last frame is a tie in to this comic: https://pbfcomics.com/comics/book-world/

But the bones do have lines resembling a mustache, having actual hair on bones would be weird.

Do not think about pink elephants

Breaking RDP is probably the most secure thing Microsoft has ever done.
Isn’t DFW in the top 5 most populous areas of the United States? That map is basically just showing population density

Others are mentioning price per message, but also important to remember that in the 2000-2010s outside of the United States, when traveling from country to country, you usually had to get a local SIM card for a provider in that country, During your vacation, you’d have a new number for a month when no one could contact you over normal text messages which was a problem. WhatsApp became popular so you could keep chatting with friends abroad even if your phone’s SIM card changed during your vacation.
Since most people from the United States don’t travel outside the country, and vacation time is rather limited, this wasn’t a problem for them, but for the rest of the world, a solution was needed that removed the cell carrier from the equation.

Sounds like the best workaround for this is to have a deadman switch to delete all data if the phone hasn’t been unlocked in a 24 hour period? Then it is your inaction that results in the destruction of the data, and you’d still be complying with the statute.

Not a bot, just excited about this, my PS4 had a newer firmware and I think the jailbreak for it just came out a few weeks ago and now this.
