Inzwischen sind BEV so oft anzutreffen, dass es den meisten potenziellen Käufern problemlos möglich ist, sich mit Fahrern zu unterhalten oder selbst mal einzusteigen und zu fahren. Das beseitigt meist die Zweifel sehr zügig. War bei mir nicht anders. Wir mussten dieses Jahr ein neues Auto kaufen, da das alte sehr unerwartet das Zeitliche gesegnet hat. Wurde dann erstmal nur aus Vernunft, weil es günstig war (<10.000€ mit weniger als 70tkm) eine ZOE ZE50 R110 von 2022 mit Kaufbatterie (52kWh). Dass es kein Neuwagen wurde lag daran, dass die interessanten Modelle erst später verfügbar sein würden - und natürlich der unschlagbar niedrige Preis für den Gebrauchten.

War mein Erstkontakt mit E-Autos und das mit einem, trotz Facelift, ja doch zu dem Zeitpunkt schon älteren Modell, das noch nichtmal die Topausstattung hat - z.B. kein CCS, keine Sitzheizung, nur das kleine Display … - danach war mir sehr schnell klar, dass daran eigentlich kein Weg vorbeiführt. Es ist einfach objektiv die bessere Technik.Es fährt sich entspannter. Man bekommt mehr Auto mit dem Benefit weniger Sorgen zu haben: die nächste Wartung sieht z.B. routinemäßig nur den Austausch des Passagierraumreinluftfilters vor.

Als dann die zweite Kiste drei Monate später kaputtging wurde der Ersatz dafür wieder ein gebrauchter Verbrenner, weil kein Budget mehr übrig und weil Leasing nicht in Frage kommt (zwei Kinder…) - aber auch hier ist klar, dass der in 7-8 Jahren, die ich ihn fahren will, von einem BEV abgelöst werden wird.

Vielleicht dann ein gebrauchter Astra E, ein id.4 oder was auch immer dann am Gebrauchtmarkt gerade gut verfügbar sein wird. Unsere Anforderungen erfüllen die alle jetzt schon: Platz für 4 Menschen, 4 Koffer, ggf. mal Dachbox und Reichweite 350-450km mit Schnelllademöglichkeit.

I actually enjoy Battlefield 1 + 5 very much, and they killed it with their anticheat shenanigans. I am still salty about this.

Wieder nix gereiht gekriegt und schwupps - werden die immer selben, durchsichtigen und völlig idiotischen Schreckgespenster aus dem Hut gezaubert. Leider auch schwupps - fallen die immer selben Trottel drauf rein und finden das dann auch noch gut.

Interstuhl, Löffler, Sedus wurden schon genannt - aus lokalpatriotischen Überlegungen werfe ich noch Viasit mit in den Raum. Habe einen Stuhl von denen seit 2019 und er sitzt sich wie am ersten Tag. War nicht mal das Top-Modell. Ergonomisch trotzdem prima. Haben wir auch (zumindest teilweise…) auf der Arbeit, wo sehr viele Ärsche darauf Platz nehmen. Keine Beschwerden.

Heutzutage kannst du dich ja damit abheben, dass du lineares Fernsehen schaust…

It’s the same with my XBox Series S. It’s just sitting there, collecting dust. Just as my steam library. My switch though has seen some rise in usage during the past few months as my kids are getting old enough to play video games and I prefer them to do this instead of binging Cocomelon…

That’s the one thing where I would raise an objection. An epic soundtrack is that one thing that adds to the experience more than fancy graphics or overly complicated game mechanics. Epic doesn’t necessarily mean expensive. Monkey Island had phantastic soundtracks, as well as other older games like The Settlers 2, early Anno games etc. They just set a mood. They supported their narratives. That was good stuff - and I guess you might now be able to extrapolate how old I am.

Half a decade for a subpar product that’s barely out of beta.

Back in the day we’ve got subpar products barely out of beta that we had to patch from magazine cds more often. Oh - and they were more fun because developers had to make something out of nothing. I feel today, where everything is possible as the engine used delivers a toolset for anything, games easily are so overly stuffed with “mechanics” that they just feel like work. I don’t like that.
