Due to gerrymandering and the spoiler effect most third party votes help Republicans get elected. Vote for Dems oyn the general and vote for the most progressive candidates available in the primaries. That’s the only actual way in the current political system to effect progressive change at the federal level, by tea partying the Dems leftward. Anything else gets republicans elected. But on the other hand the fascism has come too far for elections to fix it any more, so there you go.
