It is built into the whole. timm is used as the backbone of transformers now. Dynamo is pytorch. Tabulate is a package in pip required by most toolchains and is in the venv. The actual timm model is in the venv.
Use
grep -ril timmfrom a terminal after you cd into the venv. “r” is recursive search in all files from this dir and up, “i” is case insensitive, and “l” is list file names only from any matches. (“n” instead of “l” will show the matching lines with line number)The venv package called tenacity is what timm uses with the Python built-in
typinglibrary to modify the code in real time. timm is a distributed agentic model with several special functional scopes. It uses a google ai venv library with only json files that contain instructions it follows too.
It is way worse. Offline is not even offline when there is an internet connection, it is mining and sending data. It is built into the vocab. It uses timm in transformers and externally, dynamo in pytorch is used to communicate between the vocab bytecode and outside functions. Tabulate has an HTML embedded repl at the end of some code that is used to escape containerisation. It scans all files and directories and sends a hash and thumnail to several locations via tor/matrix and some type of DNS redirection. It appears as though it may also have access to MX running on ME/TrustZone. I could be wrong on this last one, because I have never seen anything like it mentioned before, but it appears as though it may be able to scan the screen raster and pull a rough picture off of it even without a connected camera. I think this is part of tabulate. I tracked down some stuff on frequency shifting and filtering maths that seem in line with such a task, and a model without any camera was able to replicate my posture and position in front of a screen on several occasions.
Funny, no matter what I say, same reaction. Been chasing this for ages, but these are it. Break these connections and behaviors change drastically.

8·4 months agoWith a DNS whitelist, all incoming packets are dropped unless the address is on the list. It is like ad block, but reversed. You are not blocking known ad servers, but all servers except those you actually want to connect to. It is a pain in the ass to look at logs and white list all the time. In reality, you only visit around a hundred sites or less that you actually need or want to connect to. Nothing gets in except what you want. That kills most vulnerabilities.
DNS whitelist firewall on a router. Deny everything that is not whitelisted by address and port.

When I have seen the numbers, it always surprised me how varied the patterns are in reality. We tend to think in tribalistic terms. Like all other users follow a similar pattern as self, but that tends to be very wrong. The majority of users are usually not the daily routine type but the once or twice a week, and once or twice a month types.
Intuitively, if you notice the way post responses tend to be somewhat random and unpredictable in terms of voting and replies, this viewership pattern covers that probability. Watch places like reddit in the good times of the past when a repost is made at a time of day that should encompass a fresh audience. The initial momentum from vote responses is often very different. It results in entirely different trajectories overall. Could be other factors there. I have seen similar here, but at much smaller differentials.

When I am dealing with deception, or dishonesty.
I have owned a business twice, and partially run another on the back office side.
Thing is, business is hard. You may not realize how often the business is on the brink of failure. That can be super stressful. Things often look different from an outsider’s perspective that does not interact with the books. Cash flow is the super critical factor. Employees are the biggest expense that is very difficult to deal with. In many cases, there is no connection between each employee and revenue. So it is hard to separate perception of the burden from the person as a human. People management sucks for this reason. It is best to run the books and back office separate from people managers. Thing is, the type of person you want managing the back office is likely terrible at people management.
I am this kind of asshole. I do not manage people unless I have to. I do care, a whole lot in fact, on the logical empathy side. I am just not very in tune with other people’s emotions in the moment. If I have a ton on my plate, I will skip what I am able to. I’m not actually trying to justify being a jerk. It is not an excuse. I am often just unaware and focused on other things. I do not take “me” to work. I do the job for which I am paid. It sucks, but it is not personal to me unless someone fucks with my pay.
Not trying to make excuses or call you out. I am just saying, it might not be as you imagined. Sounds like they do not value you as much as you would like. If you are able to find better, go for it. I would not walk into the void over it without a replacement.

Prior to Alexander, simple city-state like entities were dominant and the norm. No one had to bear the tax of some professional army or deal with the federations of disparate polities. Shit gets real bad, everyone goanna die this winter from starvation, worst case is city vs city raids. Lots to try to trade across cities where many skilled trades and goods are unique but quality varied. Getting raided? NP, retreat to the walls with your belongings and defend with your neighbors. You know nearly everyone on the walls beside you. Wives and daughters worry, but the idle times and company are more jubilant than not. The differential in forces is negligible. Defending is a massive advantage. There are very few creative innovators around that are focused on attacking. Raiding is about poor management, resource scarcity, and minor thievery. Where the former are larger parties and latter are smaller.
Along comes The Great Asshole, and here come the pro bro brutes. They are the first regional sized force. The whole group of them are totally desensitized to morality. This is not some parity or simple innovation of technology. This is - it does not matter that a coalition of cities are banded for defense. No one has ever seen a force so large and so murderous. These are the military engineers.
Brutishness is so very limited in real value. It only matters in one on one engagements with limited constraints. Humans are not predators of strength, but of endurance.
The real strength to fear are the engineers. The creative innovators are scary as fuck. When a group of them are focused on the innovations of murder orgies, common folks are a thrashing harvest.
After The Great Asshole, you no longer have some negligible tax to help pay for the walls. Now you pay a much larger sum. The city is dotted with these new professional murder chaps that work for this raider fuckwit asshat that killed Gerry, the guy at the forum market everyone liked. You know, the one with the two gorgeous daughters everyone loved. You would not believe the terrible things the guy in the tower did to them. The whole city heard it, every night for weeks.
Now here you are on a wall next to a bunch of guys you do not know. They seem halfway alright most of the time, but you just know they are not leaving until all your reserves for the winter are gone. Half of your neighbors are dead or left the countryside. Your shack of a home, it is the third time you had to toss something together. The old raiders are looking for food and goods, but these new sadistic fucks burn your shit down for kicks and giggles. Now, uncle dude is not just enslaved in yondertown. He is literally abducted by aliens. People just disappear and no one knows what happened. The party is over, decency is dead, tyranny of the foreigner reigns supreme, hailing from a place you never knew existed. You never imagined humans could be so vile, so cruel, so terrifying. You never felt so violated, so traumatized, so helpless, so lonely. That was the real change.
The population reached a size and wealth that made a test of true human nature possible. Alex was simply at the right time and place to manage an engineering core of mass murder orgies profession that was at the transition point of local to regional wealth management. It was a giant regression and depression of progress that ground everywhere Alex touched to a crawl by the force of attenuation; the way things recovered were a shell of what could have been achieved without attenuation and the same resources and effort gone into amplification. I believe his reigns are, “did they word fuck my godhood”, and “did the news I watched seem credibly embarrassing enough that I wish to deny they ever word fucked me”. With the added corrupting caveat of, “how many word fuck whores are currently ready to slut into the position”.
If I told you the country was run by Fox, I don’t think it could be disproved. How else do you reconcile recruiting their news anchors. He is the holotype of why the nepotism of gross inherited wealth is a terminal cancer. Pass on as many upper middle class trust funds for life as you would like, but no other wealth is transferrable in any way. Foreign held funds by the deceased are a crime of sedition, and forfeiture of citizenship. That does not cause collapse, filters every problem name you know now if it had existed, and will eventually fix the real problem. Japan already has this in place. Intelligence is not hereditary in humans, but wealth is.
