I watched The Day Will Come (Der kommer en dag) and almost cried because it was just overall very depressing but also very good. I just kinda enjoy Danish stuff… I can’t really explain it. I’ve felt this pull to Denmark I’ve never gotten from anywhere else. Anyways any good Danish television? Preferably on Netflix, YouTube, or Prime?

      +1 for “Borgen”, great drama, not too far from Danish reality og very well known internationally.

      The Rain… Not so much. Sorry to say.

      If you’re looking for some semblance of realism (and quality…), I would skip Badehotellet and The Rain.

      The first season of Borgen is very good though and it got quite popular in the UK.

      The movie “We Shall overcome” is very close to the movie you watched. Also good.

      I would say you should skip on the rain. Haven’t watched in myself but my best friend rated it as “the worst acting he has ever seen”.
