Per title. We knew it was coming some day, tho perhaps not this soon. Will you be upset if you need ugly adapter to make your extensive + expensive watchband collection work?

    I would be a bit upset. I have a pretty decent collection of only OEM bands.

    I spent most of my time with the original AW using a 42mm band on a 38mm watch…So I ain’t scared!

      Look at you! Great financial strategy. Sounds like the new features haven’t been enough to excite you yet!

    I have accumulated a large band collection. It would make me very unhappy that they would be obsolete. 🙁

      Thanks! Sadly, I’m in same boat with you! I’ll try not to do this again whenever the bands change but … :-)

    Considering how many bands I have I might be upset. Hopefully they’ll keep a/the Ultra in the lineup.

      I hear you on the bands. Haven’t tried the Ultra. For now, just seems too bulky for me

        That’s one of the things I like about the Ultra, but to each their own. I put on my Stainless Steel Series 7 a couple of times but it’s just not doing it anymore and I do dig it when I see others wear it ;-}

          I hear you! Excited when I saw it in Apple Event + online. Went to local Apple Store. Ultra looks amazing but based on typical female-size wrist size, it’s just not one preferred by me. Not that it’s a guy-only watch. I have plenty female friends who love big watches. I like that there are options for us all to select from. Please enjoy it!!

    We’ve gone 10 years with the same connectivity for bands, I’m impressed it lasted that long! Not sure how they could improve the design tho.

    It would be foolish for them to do this. They’d be alienating their customers that buy these things.

    I really don’t get why people worry so much about things out of their control (sounds easy but I struggle with it all the time). Live in the present, plan for the future and get things when you need them. Wish you a happy day! Take care! ;)

    IF they make smart bands that change color when your heart rate is high or flashes when you’ve got a notification or, even better, add sensors to the band to improve sleep detection, etc., then I’d be fine with it.

    If they just change the band for its own sake to be greedy and force people to buy new bands then I’d be upset.

      Thanks!! Nurse here. I LOVE idea of band with built-in health features. As long as it’s not chunky + cheap-looking (tho terrific for its time) like my 2014 Samsung Gear S2 on Verizon.
