I have tried playing games on linux mint with the 535 driver on proton 7.0.6, game performance is somewhat worsen on linux than on windows. Like in Cyberpunk 2077, W11 I can play at 1080p medium settings with CyberFSR 2.2 on balanced and it’s around 40-50 fps. while on linux it struggles to achieve 30 on low on CyberFSR 2.2 on performance. Any tweaks I could do to help improve my performance?

Because there is no directx support for linux, games on linux runs with vulkan or opengl. With Proton, they will mostly run with vulkan and pascal gpus vulkan support is not so good. This will be one reason your performance not so good. I highly doubt your performance will be better with updated driver and proton. But you can give it a try. (Nvidia’s latest driver is at 545 and proton should be 8)

Proton 7.0.6 is way too old, try with a newer one.

    Proton Experimental for example.

Besides, game has DLSS, why would you use CyberFSR?

Sadly Cyberpunk is one of those games that just runs significantly worse on Linux than it does on Windows on Nvidia even on 4000 series GPUs.

Plus you are already fighting an uphill battle with a 10 series GPU as they already have a performance penalty in dx12 games on linux.
