Hi everyone! Just finished second run of RDR 2, and I’m looking for a big game with a good story in which I can spend 50+ hours. Really a fan of slowburners like Death Stranding and RDR. What I’ve already finished: Days Gone, new AC trilogy (Odyssey, Origins, Valhalla), Horizon Zero Dawn. Any advices appreciated. Please don’t advice grindy games like Terraria, Minecraft, Valheim etc. (Spent enough time playing them)

There are still players in elite? I quit after odyssey. If you are into that gerne try star citizen or no man’s sky

Fallout: New Vegas is a favorite of mine.

You’ll probably like The Witcher 3, it’s hard not to recommend it.

I bet you considered CP77 but I’m going to mention it regardless. It went through a worldwide hobby of throwing crap at at it, but especially now after a ton of patches, it’s just a great game.

I’ll get a lot of hate for this but AC odyssey is a good game. Not a good assassin’s creed game, but a good game nonetheless. God of war 2018 is another one, any metro game is badass. Personally my fav is 2033. I know god of war runs on Linux fairly well idk about the others as I play them on windows.

If you don’t mind challenges, FromSoftware titles are pretty decent, Elden Ring is a big as time sink, my first playthrough was about 120h.

Skyrim with a buncha mods is always a thing, you can get many replays out of that.

If you like story driven games you can always go for RPGs. I like JRPGs the most, the final fantasy series is pretty good, final fantasy 9 is my favourite.

Not an amazing story but Control has a ton of good lore and side stories with a passable main story.

Slightly off your remit, but the Hitman 2016 Trilogy works well under Proton. The story is actually meh, but what you get instead of a big single open world experience is a sequence of about 20 large freeform levels, where the point is basically have fun and murder people in all sorts of goofy ways. It’s big, replayable (there’s post-campaign challenges, and there’s all sorts of goofy assassinations you’ve not gotten round to), and not grindy at all. I’m 2/3 of the way through my first playthrough (without any extra challenges, yet) and I’m at 33 hours so it’s on target for the 50 hours.

The Witcher 3 - it’s an absolute masterpiece, especially if you download the dlcs. No grinding - quests are meaningful and varied. It’s truly a landmark game
