I think we can all agree that this coaching staff and O’Connell have these next 5 games to show us what they bring to the table. And in my opinion, we could really lose all 5 of these games. I certainly don’t think we will, but all of these 5 teams are playing well right now, I feel like the Chargers is one that we really should win. And yes I do think we could win all five.

ANYWAYS…

5 games to evaluate if AP is our guy, I kind of think he will be the guy.

5 games to see what kind of QB O’Connell can be. I really think that no matter what we go after one of these quality QB’s coming out next year, even if it means trading up to get one. Then let that QB and O’Connell and him battle it out for the starting job. And of course find a decent third stringer to have around, even if only for the practice squad.

No one will like this part, but sit Maxx for the rest of the year. They suggest he is going to need some sort of knee surgery, I say we get on that now, and get him healing up and ready to go for next year.

Ask Adams if he really wants to be here. He came to play with Dereck and re ignite what they had in college, and Mcdummy pissed that one away. So, ask #17 if he wants to be here, and if not trade him for whatever we can get from the Jets(?) or whoever else.

Then in the off season, add some size to this offensive line, and of course add some pieces to the defense, again, mostly line help.

already a long post so I’ll go ahead and shut up, and see what you guys think.

We are in no position to trade a bunch of picks to move up a little higher on the QB claw machine. I wouldn’t even use our first on a QB. Some of those guys will be available mid second round.

I think playing Crosby was stupid and short sighted but if his knee is fine after the bye you can’t sit him. As we saw without him we have literally no defense - our secondary is shit and without Maxx pressuring throws we will lose all 5 games. If there is a 1 percent change his knee isnt healed then yes sit him.

And trade Deablo why is that guy even on the field?

O’Connell isn’t going anywhere. They can draft or sign a FA and let them compete.

The team is playing hard for AP and that means something to me. If they play hard and stay in games or win I can get behind AP staying on. I think we are all in favor of Bo and PG should still be around next year.

Any new coach will bring in new coordinators and I actually think we are on a good spot with what we have. Could probably look for a Tom Martinez type QB guru.

Not sure about Bo. It’s hard to tell because the playbook is mostly McVisor’s. I’m sure he’s changed things here and there but it’s not like he’s had since camp to implement his own playbook and philosophy

I like what you said but we have to do something about Bo. Him or AP are holding one another back. Either AP has final play day or Bo does either way I’m not liking how we went stale after success early on. We play the chiefs twice a year and need to be able to score 30-40 at will. Maybe your on to something with a QB savy type guy to elevate AOC but I think we just need a better OC although Bo has time to prove me wrong. I like AOC but I’m scared he might not get much better even with the right scheme like I said we play KC we gotta have the ability to score if we are down 2 TDs. How do we light it up first drive then fall apart the rest of the game.

I had the same thought about the AP holding back Bo. So i tried to pay attention and what I say was a sliver of a play sheet in APs hand and his mic moved away from his mouth when the Offense was on the field.

I think AP is letting Bo cook and I like a lot of what I see. Zero stretching the field in recent weeks is a bit of a problem.

We have to invest in OL and DL. It’s embarrassing how much our OL gets whooped. Yes I said whooped! JJ back there making spin moves 3 yards deep

Also this is unpopular but I’ll say it- Trade Devante to a contender. We get picks. Devante gets to play for championships. Win-win.
