What pathway are you taking? The pathways are wildly different from each other .
Jure sanguinis, sorry i didnt specify
Hire a company to do the work for you.
If it’s citizenship by descent hire an attorney. They’ll know all the right things to do, what the Italian consulate needs and what they’ll ask for.
What are the chances that will be cheaper than one of those citizenship agencies?
Mine cost $5K. I had spent about $1K trying to get docs my self with all of the request fees and postage. Ended up with some forms that weren’t done correctly etc so it was a waste in the end. The attorney still takes time but they’ve gotten almost ever document in a 5 month time span and they are all correct. They also had a couple more items that I did not know about that only the Chicago consulate requests.
Ultimately I will also have to file a suit for the citizenship and the consulates don’t even have openings right now so you’ll need an attorney anyways to do that.

Let’s see you speak with your hands. That’s a fundamental requirement to being Italian.
