Only in Philadelphia would security be informed of a man making death threats to players and their families, and security’s like “Nah, he’s fine to keep doing that.” Eagles fans are the absolute fucking worst.

Crazy that in a section with hundreds of people, nobody has come forward to confirm that any death threats were made and nobody has any video or audio evidence of it. What we do have are corroborating stories from witnesses saying fans were jawing with Phillips throughout the game and vice versa and footage of Phillips having a meltdown screaming at security before physically confronting a fan. Which do you honestly believe - unsupported hearsay from a guy looking to excuse his lapse of judgment or actual evidence suggesting he just let his emotions get the better of him?

Yeah he shouldn’t have shoved the fan, but this is on security for letting it get this far. It’s pretty clear the Bills asked multiple times for the fan to be removed or simply dealt with, and security declined.

Im not saying teams should be able to get hecklers tossed at will, but at the same time, if team staff is asking, the home stadium needs to respect any reasonable request.

Dude needs to get a major suspension for touching a fan. Absolutely not okay. The NFL doesn’t need anymore of a reputation for protecting shit human beings.

In Europe, teams are often penalized by being forced to play in complete empty stadiums when teams are unable to control unruly fans. I would love for this to happen should this ever happen again.

If it is true that Philly fans were threatening to rape athlete’s family and rattling off addresses and security did nothing than the team definitely deserves severe punishment.

If this was any other team, y’all would personally be writing Goodell to have him kicked out of the NFL, but since it’s the Eagles, this sub is like ‘ehhhhhh idk Jim…’

Regardless if something was or wasn’t said can we all agree that the “shove” was super innocuous and not a big deal? If you watch the video it wasn’t a violent push.

If the fan was reported to security and security did nothing than this really should be a BIG problem for Philly and the NFL.
