Nope… not gonna work. I think you can launch the game, but the anti-cheat will fail and several users have reported their accounts being banned because of it just launching on Linux. Epic games is pretty ruthless with this game and Linux.
The sad part is they could easily enable the anti-cheat in Linux if they chose to… it would be simple, but they actively refuse to do it and have made it no secret they will not do so.
