I always somehow find my way back to playing No Man’s Sky. No matter what I do, game I play, activity inside or outside of gaming, NMS is always there to play and chill. Sometimes I go on creative and spend a week amassing the perfect color coordinated team of ships, crew, frigates, and freighter.

That and every content update we get for free!

It is the perfect game too.

Theres an awesome video about what makes the game so special. Like the game its long (+3hrs) but perfectly captures the spirit of the game. And why its irreplaceable.

The community polling system along with continued updates has made this twenty plus year old game in a league of its own.

The mobile experience introduced a truly addictive game to the space that wasn’t just an MtX factory. While putting the game in the hands of so many who lacked an adequate computer to play.

Every step taken in the storied history of this game has gotten it to this point of perfection.

What do you do after you complete all the quests and get the best armors and stuff? I really loved this game but didn’t know what to do anymore. I absolutely loved the game before though.

There are collection logs which is what takes most fully end game players years to still be working on. Pets from each boss, all drops from each boss, all achievements, all clue scroll collection log, there’s now also the combat achievements which can be pretty tough to complete if you’re not fully confident in some combat styles. Then there’s always the grind for 200m xp in all skills some shoot for. Always something else you can aim for as a goal in RuneScape with multiple of those taking multiple years to finish.

Absolutely. Been playing rs since 2005. Nothing has ever grabbed me in the way RuneScape has. It’s a grind fest but it’s a fucking perfect grind fest to me.

RuneScape Classic for me. Unfortunately, each and every year the private server community gets smaller and smaller. Now there are only about 70 active accounts (who knows how many unique users that is) at a time. We used to be able to get 200-300 at a time and it was amazing. Every 4-6 months though I’ll always log in and check for the latest servers to see what’s new.
