I always somehow find my way back to playing No Man’s Sky. No matter what I do, game I play, activity inside or outside of gaming, NMS is always there to play and chill. Sometimes I go on creative and spend a week amassing the perfect color coordinated team of ships, crew, frigates, and freighter.
That and every content update we get for free!
Baldur’s Gate 3. I have other things I want to play but, I keep rolling back to it
I’m currently downloading buldur’s right now. Actually won a bet so my friend bought it for him and me.
Typically I’d say that this is an example of a great game but it’s too early to tell. HOWEVER, this is by far the best game I’ve ever played and I’m already looking forward to my next run and the one after that and the one after that…
I hope you’ve got to act 3 already bc you’ll change your tune a few hours into it. It’s bad. Quality bad, writing boring, new NPCs don’t feel alive.
I’ve finished 3 playthroughs and don’t agree with you at all. Seems like this is just a point that people that like to shit on popular things are repeating with very little basis.
Man I got quest locked on the Hag, Gale talking to Mystra, Lorrokan and his magic loot in the bubbles? Well when the globes are flipped off with the switch I can’t pick it up. Roland? No idea who I am. Gale, again, this time bitching at me about taking Raphael’s deal, which I’ve never taken.
Now that you know I have extensive time in the game, you know I’m not bullshitting. Act 3 is horrible compared to Act 1 and Act 2. Little companion interaction and abandoned quest lines (unconscious guy in the sewer? Gemless ring?)
Act 3 is a beta.
Could depend on platform. My roommate has it on ps5 and apparently act 3 is so buggy he can hardly even play the game due to a patch that was released a bit ago.
PC and I didn’t get to act 3 until patch 4. Everyone tells me that patch ruined act 3, but hey that’s when I got there.
that’s what I told the missus I want for Christmas…I got her Hogwarts, and we’re both playing it right now, but I might need an advance on that CRPG
BG3 has been in early access since like 3 years.
I have 350 hours in it myself, but there is no way that can last as some of the other examples in this post. Eventually there will just be nothing left to do.
I did 2.5 runs and felt good about moving on, will be fun to replay in a year or 2.
I’m trying my best to resist purchasing this. I’m working through DoS2 right now which is fun but I feel it’s dragging on just a bit. There’s so much random stuff to do. But I also have like 40+ other games in my backlog to get through too. If BG3 ever drops to $25-30 or less that’s when I’ll buy it… if I can resist…
