MFW you need a good QB to win in the NFL because QB is the most impactful position

Brady leaving left a goat shaped hole on a already decent to bad roster(which was part of the reason he left). He’s still a all-time coach, but a bad GM, which is why people want to think he’s a worse coach then he is

Nah cuz the insane level of consistency he oversaw with Brady at QB has never been matched

I mean it took 3 years without Belichick for Brady to put up a losing season in the worst division in the league

The defenses have been amazing, and IMO still GOAT coach.

That being said Bill the GM is a booty tier GM.

    No.

The honest truth is the majority of coaches need a change of scenery after some time.

The Patriot Way won’t work there anymore, and the guys on the roster don’t have any reason to buy in to Billy B now. This is the case even for guys like Andy Reid.

A parting of ways and a fresh start will do both good, and if Billy goes to another team that will be more telling. As of now a few bad seasons at the tail end of his career if he calls it quits changes nothing.

Nah, he’s just an old man that no longer has his Viagra prescription via TB12. He is a 1st ballot HOFamer and will most likely be leading the league in SB wins as a head coach for a long time.

I feel like people are neglecting that he is also the GM. You know, the person responsible for drafting and trading

Its funny how everyone will rush to tell you (correctly) that wins aren’t a QB stat, then use them as a coaching stat, which is even worse.

Belechick was never a significantly above average strategic decision maker.

I think not having Brady has shown how bad of a GM Belichick is. Brady masked the play of a lot of mediocre talent and without Brady, the roster is very meh.
