Do you play video games with your spouse? What do you play together? Do you have coop sessions? I want to hear your stories.
My husband (40M) is a PC gamer. I (40F) have recently started playing coop games with him. I’ve tried playing in the past, but I never get very far due to the intensity in most of them. Recently, we started playing co-op games together so he can help me out while we play, and I can actually enjoy the game. I was just curious what other couples play and if you have any recommendations for us.
PC games we’ve played in co-op: Splinter Cell, Breakpoint, Green Hell, Astroneer, Grounded, and we just started Icarus. *The only one we truly finished together is SplinterCell and most of Breakpoint.
I decided to get a hot one instead of a gaming one
Me and my husband game together, we really enjoyed It Takes Two, A Way Out and Overcooked had us laughing the entire time we was playing. We enjoy sitting down and playing single games together, when we met it was because I fangirled over seeing a game I loved that got us talking. We started playing The Last Of Us, Uncharted 4 and Horizon Zero Dawn together and he actually made .e realise I love JRPGs because we played a couple together, something I hadn’t done before.
Ive tried. But when we started to play a first person horror game, after 15 minutes she rushed to the toilet to puke. She can’t use the controller properly.
Yes. My wife likes to play SWTOR with me.
No, mostly cause I don’t have a wife.
Sometimes. I adore single player games but he’s more into multiplayer (Im not). He likes to watch me play though so we get to experience the game together.
No. My wife doesn’t see the fun of it. Not at all. Not even candy crush or similar.
We’re not married yet but my girlfriend that I’ve been living with for about 4 years now does play Mario Kart, gang beast, and unspotable with me
I play Minecraft with my wife. She’s very serious about it
Before I met my husband, I played only The Sims and WOW. He got me into gaming during the quarantine. We started with the Witcher 3. I honestly think gaming saved our sanity during those hard times.
And since then, we have played many games together - every Witcher, almost all AC games, Subnautica, all souls games, elden ring, BG3, RDR2 It takes two,… We usually take turns. He is way better gamer than I am, so if there is something hard, he let me try it a couple of times to have a good laugh and then he beats the boss or solve the riddle.
We love playing together, it is actually the best part of the day when he gets home from work, I prepare some snacks, hot chocolate or tea and we just sit in our living room and play ❤️
My partner has never been a gamer, but I recently managed to convince her play Baldurs Gate 3 co-op with me. She got really into it and loves it now
Yeah we play together, currently we play Diablo 4.
Before that we played some MMOs together like WoW, Rift.
We also played a lot of Minecraft over the years. I have a private server for family and friends thats full of our creations some from way back when we met. Can recommend.
Nope … Just some kart games in the Switch. Nothing I also enjoy playing unfortunately. I’d love to play together!
My wife doesn’t like most more or less violent games. But she did watch and show interest in the Horizon games. She knows those that that’s my hobby and an important way for me to decompress.
Yea me and my wife we both tends to play games together but at times we both play on our own games based on different interest as well, its been like this since before we married, its fun and i also tried to multiplayer or coop games that suits her so its been good so far.
