YouTube is recommending me MeatyMarley videos lately and my urge to play Rainbow Six is through the roof. Ive been playing Overwatch 2 lately since I know it works, but it just doesn’t scratch the same urge. Valorant obviously doesn’t work with that malware anticheat that it has and CS2 is kinda meh. Any suggestions?

    I have played r6 500 hours and I could say hunt showdown it’s what you need, all of my friends who played in 6 earlier now play hunt

    What about Squad? Last time I checked it ran fine on Proton.

    Not exatly the same, but lately I’ve been playing a lot of Hell Let Loose and Easy Red 2. Both run very well on linux.

    Wolfenstein Enemy territory if you want some proper old school fps fun - 100% free and linux native - community is pretty small though there are a few populated community servers and communities that organise competitive games https://www.etlegacy.com/ (It’s also on steam but the client on steam is a bit out of date)

    Ghost Recon Wildlands is quite enjoyable. You play a guy who fights a drug cartel in Bolivia. You have to take out all the bosses and minibosses over several missions. Fun to play!

    Division 2, wildlands, and maybe breakpoint are all decent. Multi-player works fine on Division 1 and 2 and wildlands, not tried it on breakpoint (mostly because wildlands is better).

      Multiplayer works in wildlands? Thought the AC kicks out Linux players unless you apply some dodgy workaround to disable it for everyone

        Multiplayer works with EAC bypass on those who are on windows. GNU/Linux users can still play together

        It does work out of the box. I’ve played with my kid several times and no issues. I think I just use experimental.

    S.W.A.T 4 is still the grand dad of modern tactical shooters.

    Rainbow Six Vegas 1 + 2 are still the very best games in the Rainbow Six series.

    Hidden & Dangerous 2 still holds op and will give you that rush of outmaneuvering your enemies.
