If you read about what happened behind the scenes, they created a whole bunch of standalone awesome parts but it didn’t tie together at all. I’ve long speculated that is one of the problems that the Overwatch PvE had.
I don’t why they don’t make games like a book/movie write a damn story then make the game fit it. Could even do storyboards like they do for movies setting up the entire game then you would just need to animate it.
That’s the direction too many developers go, you’re creating incohesive environments for the workers with little to no communication. It’s literally why Diablo 4 was so fucked up and still is. They can’t navigate issues because it’s a bundled up mess. I really hope Microsoft sees this and turns Blizzard and Activision away from such nonsense. Another example would be to grab 3 puzzle box of different size and combine them into one. Tf are they thinking…?
Played it at E3 like 2003. Just out of high school and found a loophole to get in without being in industry. Lived in Cali so went to play WoW. Was one of the first at door opening to play WoW.
But once I played that a bit went over and played Ghosts. Was really fun for a game at that time. Sad they scrapped it.
StarCraft ghost, the game looked great
I was at e3 the year this game was announced and got a hands on demo. To this day I need this game.
It was. I mention in my reply that I actually got to play it.
I was just about to comment that! I know it wouldn’t be up for today’s standards, but man did it sound great back then.

That’s exactly what they do…

Came here to comment this.
I literally bought a game cube, for no other reason, than starcraft ghost was going to launch on it.
