You’re in for a treat
I’ve tried getting into it twice on two different systems. Can’t seem to get caught up in it.
I remember the whole time I was playing this I kept thinking that it was rough as hell. Just janky from top to bottom.
Still loved it though. The game just had a weird but refreshing and unique feel all it’s own.
Everything didn’t feel so forgiving like other games at the time. Like, going into a cave or just roaming around at night meant I needed a torch or it was just too dark. Little things like that were great.
GOBLINS!!!
I started it last night. The whole tine I was thinking “it’s kinda dated now but this would have blown my fucking mind if I’d played it on release”
I’ve tried to get into it twice now. Never hooked me in. The map and quest tracking is awful
I played it for a few hours but got a bit annoyed with the lack of “off the main path” exploration I could do. Walk into a cave and get killed in 2 hits by something, walk 50ft the “wrong” way oh look there’s a random bandit that’s 20x stronger than the bandits you fought 20 seconds prior, and you’ve now been one shot and have to reload.
Same, between the horrible quest markers, limited fast travel and that damn stamina bar I just couldn’t get into it. Because of the limited fast travel you get caught out at night where all hell breaks loose lol
Played hundreds of hours changing the controller with my bro, love this game hoping the sequel is just as good
I played the original some time ago, it lost me on the traps shiny enemies, not so much the lack of fast travel.
I want my baddies to stay dead, but I did enjoy it for a good 16 hours.
Sweet! Just remember to temper some expectations as the open world, story and quests are a bit… let’s call them weird.
I don’t like the pawn system so far but everything else is really fun
I spent 6 hours in the game, i got lost and didn’t know what to do or how to progress the mission’s. Looked it up on yt, did the same steps to do the mission yet nothing happened so i deleted the game.
One of the best games of all time.
Not sure how it works on PC, but make sure you find a friend with a decently leveled pawn to help you out. Other players’ pawns can be rented, but the price scales with level and cab get outrageously expensive, but a friend’s pawn is free no matter the level.
Be advised that there is an XP nerf/buff if you rent a pawn that is +25/-25 levels of your own
Monitor?
Wolves hunt in packs, Arisen.
Their kind ill like fire.
