Does anyone make this adapter or would i need to make my own? I want to use my old dell vista case, but build a modern PC inside. I am a newbie so i am trying to learn the best approach. Any help would be appreciated.

Jesus fucking christ almighty go on youtube and look up how to build a PC, modding one when you know nothing is one of the dumbest things you can do. Holy shit.
You already have a micro ATX motherboard. What are you trying to adapt??
Thanks for this! This is exactly what i was looking for! I will most likely buy a case to get the PC going, but convert over after finishing the case. Thanks everyone for the all of the information and help!
Bro the E210882 is a COMPLETELY different form factor called BTX. Unless you get a dremel and re-orient the rear of the case, drill new standoff mounts, and move the PSU somewhere, you’re not adapting anything at all, ever.
Find out what case model it is and you can check if a standard board fits. Dell sometimes has weird boards but I quickly Googled your board and it says it is a micro ATX board so the case should fit.
Is it a Dell dimension 4600 or something like that?

It’s BTX from an old Optiplex or something. I’ve worked with these plenty before.
Thanks for the help, i keep seeing its micro ATX. I measured mine with calipers and created a quick 3D model in Onshape with the E210882 and the specs for a micro ATX and it doesn’t look like the holes will align. I will be receiving my motherboard next week so i was just trying to get ahead of the game. I do believe this is a 4600 board from the picture i have seen of other 4600 boards.

Ah OK. Best thing to do is just give it a go when you go get the board but make sure there’s nothing shorting the back of the board etc.
Just to clarify, you want to replace your E210882 motherboard with a new micro ATX board? You can use any micro ATX board - the E210882 is a micro ATX board itself.
The E210882 sounds like the motherboard model number. What’s the PC model? They might have used the same motherboard in different cases. But from what I’m seeing, the motherboard looks to be a microATX form factor so any microATX motherboard should mount in there. The rear panel might be built into the case or at least not a standard size. So you might have to cut that open to fit a normal rear panel port shield. I would assume you’d swap out the PSU and not try to use the old Dell one so you shouldn’t have to worry about any PSU compatibility. The only other thing would be the front panel connector. Dell generally documents their PCs pretty well. So if you look up the model number or Service Tag, there’s a good chance they list what pins are for power button, LED and so on. Maybe if you do some searching you “might” find an adapter. But probably you’ll have to make your own adapter or splice in some normal dupont connectors.
It’s a BTX motherboard. There’s no adapting this.
