I have a Paramount Plus subscription, but want to watch it through my Apple TV app, but it doesn’t give me the option to login, but wants me to get a new subscription. Does anyone know how to add if you already have a subscription?

You can’t use the Apple TV Channel in the TV app if you subscribed directly with Paramount+. You have to use the paramount+ app.

If you subscribe to the Paramount+ Apple TV Channel you can use both.

Thank you, I just signed up under a promotion and was trying to reduce the number of apps I use to stream. I’m also guessing if you purchase through Apple TV directly that you have to pay monthly and don’t have the option to pay annually to take advantage of the discount offered for paying annually vs. monthly.

I have the Apple channel subscription to Paramount+ and it’s kind of a mess. The live feed doesn’t work and the sports content doesn’t work. I still need to have the app on my AppleTV to access NWSL games, for example.

I have the annual subscription to Paramount+ and have no issues logging in/streaming through the Paramount+ app on Apple TV

I just use their specific App. I think it works with Next Up in the TV app still. I don’t use that function though.

Sometimes streaming through the vendor app is better. Sometimes streaming via (in this case) third party app is better. I think there isn’t a 💯perfect solution.
