I’ll go first: playing with other people in multiplayer who are geographically close to you would be very fun.
no microtransactions
Coop games where both players advance their campaign progress.
A wide variety of graphical settings so the game is as accessible as possible. Better the game looks bad than I can’t play it at all
The system in Pillars of Eternity 2 and Tyranny where you could mouse over important plot words and character names in dialogues and get a short description or lore related info on them.
Crazy to say that but please game developers release the game when it is actually finished and real people tested the game before releasing it, this can’t be to difficult right?
More offline single player games.
Releasing fully feature complete games. I’m tired of seeing games that are a broken mess at release.
Having players pay to be allowed to do QC for the company.
Reassign the buttons.
Turbo mode for turn-based games.
Customizable controls.
I’ve played several PC games where the keyboard & mouse controls could be customized but gamepad controls couldn’t. Why one but not the other?
The ability to pick your own colours for labelled stuff, particularly in FPS games. I appreciate the dedicated colour blind options but most of the time none of them work for me at all. Why not just let me pick whatever colour I want for the 2nd lvl evo shield in Apex? I dunno.
Release full completed games. None of this “massive day one patch” or “just wait for the patch” moments just after release. If you can’t walk into a store and buy a physical copy and pop it into your console/pc and play without internet (if you’re game isn’t playable out of box), then you’re doing it wrong.
Save and quit in the middle of a dialogue tree.
Disable quicktime buttons (I just want to watch the cool cutscene)
Disable mash-to-open stuff.
The ability to change my loadout during the loading screen of Destiny is amazing. More games should have that
