I’m Arsenal Fan but I also watching lot of game of other big 6 team and when I watch United game I feel like this happen in almost every single game this season in EPL and UCL.You just need score frist vs United they will decided to gave up their game or another thing is why they can’t hold the lead in UCL game like yesterday game vs Galatasaray they will always make individual mistake like Andre Onana last night and that happen over and over again
Wingers not crossing has been an issue for the goal scoring part, but I can imagine the issues with VAR screwing them over every game can’t help the mentally, looks like that has stopped recently, players on big wages isn’t an issue really they have justified those wages, players of the calibre of varane and casemiro for example. The transfer side is back room, the owners only care about the money coming in, when we reached the CL in the past, it’s felt like the owners just decided, that will do, and then not spend, and then sacking manager, rinse and repeat, basically no progress as a result and a load of players coming for projects that don’t happen
Feel like man utd only knows how to play the long pass no matter the situation. Win lose or draw it’s always long pass to the forwards which results in lost of possession and a lack of control over the game giving the opposition chances to score
They have a goalkeeper problem
Poor mentalities, poor financial management, poor man management, poor recruitment, leech owners.
Any manager that takes the utd job would struggle. Any success that happens will be short term success until major changes happen throughout the club from top to bottom.
Yeah Onana can’t hold all the simple beats
United will struggle until Glazers get lost from this club. Period.
United fans have been saying this for years. Its not a revelation.
Mentality? I think before mentality the more pressing problem is positioning and in game management.
Yes but it’s not the only one
Id say It is their single biggest problem and can be seen time and time again over the last few years. When things don’t go their way they completely lose their cohesion and give up. The biggest example of this is obviously the Liverpool 7 goal defeat.
How do you fix a team that won’t put it all on the line for the club? It’s a big issue that isn’t easily solved.
It’s the top 4 is a trophy mentality everyone bar City seem to have coming home to roost.
Does Man U have a problem in- Yes. Doesn’t matter what Yes there is are problems everywhere
Onana and Hoolund very very bad player
Who is this Hoolund?
Hoo?
Mentality is for sure one of the problems along with a pile of many others
just score first against us and we frantically run on the ground
comparison to real madrid they conceded a goal against Napoli and within a minute or so replied back with a banger of a goalwould you ever think after el classico if real loses can you imagine seeing vini patrying or rodrygo partying ofc no
but after the loss against city rashford was reportedly seen partying the same nightrashford is not a bad player but its all about the mentality and the willingness for the team and not just playing for the paycheck
Rashford’s was a pre-planned birthday party. It was not some random night out. I understand how bad in PR terms that is but I also understand him doing it as a United fan.
It’s probably a bit of everything. Mentality, questionable decisions in transfer windows, strained relationships with key players (from Ronaldo to Maguire and now Sancho), and a reluctance to make significant changes in tactics.
Sure, injuries didn’t help either, but I’m struggling to notice any on-field improvement since ETH took charge at United…
United have many many many problems, mentality is just one of them.
They have a lack of quality in the starting XI and next to no depth, they have players on massive wages for absolutely no reason, and they like many other teams are struggling with injuries, another big problem they have is their best players can’t play the way the best teams in the league play, and likely how ETH wants to play
Well “Sir” Ole legacy bro
