Just pulled the trigger on an OLED. I haven’t played a game on my PC for over a year, it’s simply used to stream football matches to my Chromecast on the weekends.

I already have a laptop and a PS5 that can do the heavy lifting. I also have a PS Vita that gets used daily simply because it’s so convenient, so I know the Steam Deck will get some play.

Just curious about others.

No. It made me reevaluate and spend my new gaming PC budget on a high end gaming laptop and i couldn’t be happier.

I still use my deck for a lot of indie games and emulation, but i use the laptop for high end games, photo editing, and general web browsing.

I barely used my PC since having a kid because i don’t really like being stuck in the game room. Now ill use it daily.

Yes, I was in the same situation as you are. PS5 for AAA games, had vita from before, and after steam deck purchase my pc was collecting dust so I sold it. Steam deck is docked and used as a main home pc. I eventually sold vita as well.

My setup is destinctly for streaming my games to the deck. So I’m not NOT using my pc, but I got the steams deck two years ago and my new gaming pc this year with the intention of soley streaming my games to the deck. I can stil dock my deck anywhere with a tv in the house and sit back if I want, but I mostly just sit in my recliner with the deck in my lap.

I’ve been using my PC less. My PS5 was just more convenient but the deck has made it easy to get back into the steam ecosystem

Not ditched, but use less for most games. If we ever get to a point where I can play all my games, Xbox pc game pass without streaming, and the docking works like Switch, it would be bye bye

I’m definitely ditching my gaming consoles in favor of the SD, docked mode on my entertainment center. I’m not going to be traveling for awhile, and wince I only play it docked it really doesn’t make sense to purchase the OLED.

I can confirm that my 3070 laptop doesn’t get as much love as the Steam Deck, by a long shot

I don’t have a PC and the day I eventually build one I’m a bit sad that I’ll probably do the opposite !
