I’ve really been looking forward to his take on the character and to me it’s just strange that such a big IP and name attached can just disappear from the public eye like it did. I understand that they had to move out of last winter because Cameron’s old ass finally got around to releasing Avatar 2; but this could have easily eaten Wonka’s lunch. Hopefully Warner’s can get a little rejuvenation for the project after Barbie’s smash success. There’s no other issues I can think of that would have affected production… they sorely need to make up for lost time here.
