Have you ever tried finding something you know is there but you just can’t find it?! Either inside or outside, the lights are on or the sun is out but you just aren’t seeing it. So many times I’ve lost something and gave up but I was able to find it at nighttime because I could see it differently with a flashlight. And there’s a few reasons for this. A flashlight might cause a reflection off the item your looking for that’s mixed in with other items that don’t reflect light. Or even cause a shadow and make the item appear larger. And daytime might cause day blindness somewhat(blinded by the light). It’s amazing how much easier it is to see things at nighttime with a flashlight because of this. An example: about a week ago at 9pm I was able to find a bunch of broken glass in the grass next to our walkway that I couldn’t find during the day. This is a place where we all walk barefooted a lot. The glass lit up like it was on fire. It’s amazing how many things you can find just walking in your neighborhood at nighttime as well that you typically wouldn’t see during the day.
